TANGRAM is the new innovation and skills development center dedicated to creating the future of sustainable logistics and maritime transport. The goal is to bring together international experts and key players in the transport and logistics sectors to co-create the new rules of tomorrow.
A new site at Pointe Rouge in Marseille, opened in February 2024, serves as a hub for CMA CGM Group employees, startups, large companies, universities, and research centers.
YOUR ROLE
Based at the TANGRAM site, you will report to the Finance Department of TANGRAM and work in close collaboration with the accounting firm.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
**Support in purchase monitoring and supplier relations**:
Follow-up of purchase requests in the Yooz management tool
Monitoring supplier payments
Supplier account circularization (once or twice a year as needed)
**Support in preparing monthly management reports**:
Identification of unbilled services
Estimation of accruals to be recorded
**Support in preparing monthly financial closings**:
**Account analysis**: checking the consistency of accounting entries with the expected results
Monthly entry of balance sheets and income statements into OneStream
Intercompany account reconciliations
Verification of bank reconciliations
**Contribution to transversal projects**:
Process improvement
Task automation
Participation in the implementation of reporting tools and performance indicators for the site
Drafting of procedures
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
A gap-year student (M1/M2) specializing in finance/accounting
Service-oriented, with strong client/supplier relationship skills and a results-driven mindset
Able to create and improve operational management processes, with a leadership style that is both supportive and demanding
Good knowledge of accounting tools, particularly Cegid Loop and Yooz
Diplomatic, with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders
Rigorous in management and innovative in improving user experience quality
Solid understanding of accounting processes
Knowledge of budget management
Professional English, both written and spoken (in person and by phone), would be a plus
