Bio-feedstock Pre-treatment Engineer

- TotalEnergies is looking for a bio-feedstock pre-treatment engineer (M/F) who will join the Renewable & Conventional Fuels Department of TotalEnergies Research & Technology Gonfreville (TRTG). The TRTG is a campus bringing together multiple skills, it brings together technical assistance, R&D and support activities for the entire Company.
- Within the Technical Line of the new OneTech entity, the incumbent will work on all of the Company's industrial sites and refineries as well as its Joint Ventures (JVs). He/she will be at the heart of the Company's renewable fuels roadmap.**As a bio-feedstock pre-treatment engineer (M/F), you have the following responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support for processes and operation of the units for which you will be responsible (Hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), pre-treatment of feedstocks and esterification), to all units operated by TotalEnergies and its JVs.
- Participate in industrial projects on these units which strongly contribute to the ambition of the Company.
- Establish and/or ensure the validation of certain process deliverables required for the development of these industrial projects.
- Participate in the start-up phases when commissioning new units or after Major Shutdowns.
- Contribute to improving the energy efficiency of your units and reducing CO2 emissions by offering our sites the keys to improvement and then deploying them to the entire Company.
- Contribute to sustainably improving the security and availability of units within your perimeter.
- Improve energy performance, asset optimization and cost control of units within your scope.
- Actively participate in the success of major investment projects, particularly in renewables and low-carbon solutions.
- Promote the development of the Company's technical skills, in particular through the deployment of various tools and training programs.
- In direct connection with R&D and all industrial sites, contribute to innovation and new technological developments that can be industrialized.
- You hold a general engineering or chemical engineering degree,
- You have professional experience of at least 5 years in the field of Bio charge pretreatment processes on an industrial site and/or in engineering or with a licensor.
- Fluency in English and French are required
- International travel to be expected.
