Category: Oil and Gas Industry: Oil & Gas City/Country: Paris, France Location: France MPH is currently recuiting a GPI Cost Control & Budget Leader Services for a contract duration of 1 year (Renewable) Location : located in France with assignments in Luanda Tasks to be performed Preparation, coordination and controlling of all activities related to Budget and Cost Management of the Project, supervising packages cost controllers (functional link), up to project close out report. 1)To prepare the project budget (LOP) and the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) according to rules, procedures and Project needs, and TEPA needs 2)To develop procedures and instructions with regards to budget and cost control 3)To prepare the various budgets and successive updates (Annual Budgets) with inputs from Package during periodic budget sessions 4)To participate in monitoring and controlling the Project expenditures 5)To timely report to the Project Control Manager highlighting achieved progress and any area of concern or problem encountered 6)To participate in the preparation of the Cost Control reports highlighting the project costs trends and drifts, proposing corrective measures or actions 7)To create accordingly into the UNISUP system, the Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, Contracts (and Call-off) for the project external services 8)To process invoices in accordance with the existing procedures and contracts 9)To record and control into the UNISUP system the performances on commitments, relevant accruals, updated payment schedules, invoices, and cost control issues as required 10)To ensure the Delegation of Authority process is used as required and applied correctly 11)To update and maintain the project Estimated Final Cost (EFC) accordingly 12)To close out in UNISUP the commitments according to accounting and SOX procedures To observe and impose strict confidentiality of data related to budget and cost data all along the course of the Project. To gather 'lessons learnt' with regards to Cost Control matters and to provide feedback to other Company's entities as required To demonstrate individually an exemplary behavior about HSSE rules & requirements, and with regard to the Company Ethics and "Code of Conduct" policy. - Deliverables - Develop the budget and cost controlling management for the project - Supervise cost control activities within all packages - Provision of reports - Technical Requirements - Experience in Finances and Cost Control with at least 10 years of experience at same or equivalent position - Dynamism, high motivation, transverse coordination, organized, attention to details - Language of the service: English mandatory
