Automotive Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly innovative and passionate engineer to join our software team that is developing advanced software components for next generation automotive software systems.

**Your responsibilities**
- Autonomously drive yourself in the process of solving the customer’s requests by: planning, designing and implementing new software solutions, considering customers’ requirements, performance improvement and optimization of their products
- Collaborate with Project managers and drive the sprints planning and prioritization of technical tasks based on the project schedule

You will interact with multiple NXP teams across the world (hardware, software, solutions, customer engineering, marketing, etc,), with partners and customers.

**Your profile**
- Embedded programming experience in C
- Experience working with low-level microcontrollers drivers for ARM MCUs
- General CPU/Computer architecture know-how
- Knowledge of software development processes and methods
- Knowledge of SW configuration management
- Automotive specific development processes (ASPICE, ISO 26262)
- Knowledge of Functional Safety
- Experience with MCU peripherals and external devices like power management devices, transceivers, external flash, etc.
- English language (spoken and written)
- At least 5 years of experience as SW engineer

Experience with any of the following is considered a plus:

- Developing battery management solutions using embedded controllers
- Debugging skills for embedded targets and low-level software
- Developing SW following the AUTOSAR specifications

**What can you expect**

Contract: This is a fulltime position with a permanent contract
