**About the job Senior Supply Chain Manager**: **Senior Supply Chain Manager**: **Job Information**: **Position Summary**: - Manage SIOP, Materials and Production planning, Warehousing & Logistics for our client´s Plant, ensuring on time supply of parts to assembly lines. - Responsible for business unit logistics savings performance - Lead, and develop the material planner, SIOP, Customer Services, Production Planning, Inbound and Outbound logistics teams. - Optimize inventory to support production needs and meet target inventory levels and turn rates. Secure Warehousing capacity to support current business and business growth plans - Ensure customer satisfaction (internal and external) by employing continuous improvement projects focused on cost, quality, delivery, and safety. - Build and maintain a strong and sustainable relation with suppliers and customers - Manage The Inbound Material Warehouses and the replenishment of parts to production lines improving productivity, and inventory accuracy - Manage the Finished goods warehouse and shipping to customers to ensure Customer OTD performance **Job Requirement**: - Education & Qualification: Business Administration - University/ /Engineering - Engineering / Allow Equivalent - Experience: 10>15 years - Experience Description: Logistics and Material & Production Planning - Travel Standard: 10 25% - Global Breadth: Local - Understanding of Lean / 5S programs. - Knowledge of the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning Process (SIOP). - Extensive PC Skills: Excel, Word, Access, and Manufacturing Operating Systems. - Fluent French and English **Direct Manager: Supply Chain Director EMEA** **Role Type**:Senior Manager **Others**: **Difficulties & area of focus when carrying out job (position)**: - Ensure SIOP Stability and improve supplier Delivery Performance - Ensure MRP settings are regularly reviewed and improved specially with regards to Safety stock levels, Lead times, and Minimum Order quantities - Develop methods and tools to open the lines of communication to and from assembly, material handlers, and material specialists. - Identify and resolve supply issues and interruption.in a proactive manner - Work with EMEA Logistics Team to implement EMEA transportation Partners and Logistics cost improvement project **Role & Responsibility**: **Main Responsibilities**: - Own the BOM (during the development and serial production phase) - Develop and manage program pipeline within Product Line - Primary interface with product line engineering and manufacturing - Manage ongoing programs (cost, sourcing timing, supplier readiness) from a Supply chain Perspective - Launch readiness review - Implement sourcing decisions - Manage supplier improvement plan & quality - Lead technical savings activities on the areas of Internal and external logistics, packaging and transportation. - Plan, approve and implement programs for timely development and progression of the individuals. - Develop and manage Transportation and Logistics budget, schedule, and budget of projects. - Define, interpret, and implement organizational goals within area of responsibility. - Maintain item master and planning parameters to ensure inventory accuracy. - Participate in the SIOP process for - Supply Planning - Partnership Meetings - Executive Review Sessions - Value Stream Management: Monitor suppliers capacity, constraints, lead-times and overall inventory commitments. Escalate potential risks to senior management - Process Action Messages generated by MRP Planning Process. - Maintenance and integrity of planning database in the MRP system; update item master to include lead-time, order policy, safety stock, and other order modifiers. - Manage integrator suppliers and floor stock items; create and develop replenishment methodology and maintain parameters to support desired stocking levels. - Lead and Develop the Supply chain teams in Pontchateau, ensure team remains stable and motivated. - Direct Reports: 5, Total Reports 60 - Logistics & Freight budget 5.5M euro, Inventory value 40M Euro **Communication**: **Internal Shared**: - Manufacturing Operations - Finance - Shipping logistics - Engineering - Commodity Managers and Buyers **External Shared**: - Suppliers - Customers
