**DCS / ICSS Technician**

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITES**
- The role of an ICSS Technician is mainly to assist the ICSS Specialist with any work pertaining- to ICSS, packages’ control and Safety systems as well as communications systems.- They ensure that all work they carry out is done safely and with regard to security of access- equipment.- They will liaise effectively with other personnel.- The ICSS Technician is authorised to maintain Packages’ control and Safety Systems as well- as Communication systems and equipment. Also, when authorised to do so, carry out ICSS- Maintenance and Upgrade tasks by acting as replacement to the ICSS Specialist in times of- need.**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ/HNC/HND or University degree in Electrical / Instrumentation or local
- equivalent
- 3 yrs experience desired with offshore experience preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
- Good experience of Permit to Work, Electrical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.
- Medically fit to offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.

**PERSONAL SKILLS**
- Personal: Conscientious and versatile. Capable of positive communication and performance.- Leadership: Proactive and positive with willingness to exchange knowledge with team members.- Technical: High standard of technical and professional knowledge of Radio, Communications, PLCs and HMIs equipment- IT: Operation and use of Internet and electronic mail system.
