**Our Development & Design department is looking for a **Product Design Engineer** to be based in our Tech Center at **Méru** (60, Oise) France.**:
**The main missions** of the role are to:

- Responsible for the technical execution of the design of one or more parts (zone responsible)
- Design of CAD models and drawings according to OEM specification, FIS standards, guidelines & methodology together with other function (Development Engineer, Process Tool Engineer, Product Design Leader,)
- Generate functional internal and customer drawings
- Follow Faurecia Product Standards, Methodologies, Guidelines and Program Management System
- Support the Key Product Characteristic identification and formalization.
- Participate actively in the DFMEA session for his scope of parts responsibility
- Meet Data quality standards according to requirements of customer and FIS standards and specifications.
- Manage and ensure Quality and delivery of CAD (2D & 3D) in his zone
- Concept Development (design, function, part structure, assembly sequence, fixing and centering,...) and documentation in cross section book, concept drawing and concept data files
- Ensure product feasibility
- Ensure Prototype and Serial design according to customer and FIS specifications and standards. Ensure overall product “Design for Performance” (including implementation into CAD of inputs with regard to results of simulation, tests and validation to meet performance criteria) with engineering team
- Definition of RPS & tolerance stack book (together with PPV as required) and collaborate on the geometrical convergence process with Development Engineer and Geometry Center
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the global product performance
- Follow Design&Development processes and maintain appropriate documentation (Open Issues List, PDCA, CMI, )
- Assign design work to Design team through appropriated methods (Work orders,)
- Definition and Implementation in CAD data GD&T together with Development Engineer and Geometry
- Develop Lessons learned and Technical Report documentation as required by Program Management System Deliverables for potential implementation in FIS standards. Communicate the documentation to Design&Development team leader.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in mechanical domain. (Young graduated engineer or 2 year of experience in Automotive Industry)
- Minimum bi-lingual (English required).
- Catia Software knowledge
