**Location**: Lyon

The Senior Financial Advisor for France will be responsible of providing a good and timely accurate reporting for all the Statkraft´s French entities. You will be part of the GBS (Global Business Services) team and reporting to the Head of GBS Unit & Tax Reporting for Spain, Portugal, France and Belgium. You will also be working closely with the other countries in GBS team and other Europe Finance units in the BA’s.

You will be in charge of:

- Monitoring and reviewing daily accounting operations: purchase orders, invoices, expenses, bookkeeping, etc.
- Actively interact with both treasury and accounts receivable/payable functions.
- Establish a close collaboration with Finance & Office Administrator position in Invoice to Pay department. Getting potential assistance from this position and contributing to the development of this resource.
- Monitoring, preparation and review of monthly financial reports.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with local tax requirements to include, as appropriate, VAT / Payroll / indirect taxes, withholding taxes, corporate taxes and duties.
- Establish and maintain financial procedures in line with the Group policy and the French requirements.
- Coordinate the year end closing between IFRS reporting (Group reporting) and Statutory French GAAP. Annual GAAP conversion
- Responsible for all the audit processes for the French entities.
- Responsible for Corporate Tax preparation and submission.
- Key role on budgeting, supporting and liaising with the relevant team (BA’s) to get the annual budgets
- Coordination with the HR department to get the relevant reports to book the payroll journal and other related transactions such as PRP accruals, holiday pay accruals, etc
- Responsible for Group quarterly and yearly reporting for all the French entities
- Working closely as a business partner with the business unit heads, including interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.
- Support Senior Finance Manager on certain accounting tasks related to our two entities in Belgium

**Qualifications**:
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other relevant field from a University or Business school.

IFRS and French GAAP knowledge and experience

Min 5 years of experience in financial accounting

Experience with CIT returns

Experience with SAP and high level with MS office apps

Fluent in English and French mandatory

Strong communication skills, ability to negotiate and build relationships across the wider business.

Flexible, reliable, proactive, and self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.

Team player, ability to work independently, under tight deadlines.
