The** Global Category Leader **will be responsible of a global spend of ~70M€ related to Capex (Production equipments, building/construction) and Maintenance. You will be accountable for the Total Cost of Ownership of these categories including assurance of supply, quality, services, costs and innovation in order to drive and manage overall supplier performance.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Design, build and communicate widely category strategies with close alignment with Technical Operations stakeholders as well as with the Global Procurement community.
- Contribute to the strategic development and execution of a savings pipeline and will ensure the robust delivery through clear and measurable benefits.
**Main responsibilities**:
**CATEGORY MANAGEMENT**:
- Drive Category Management process for the assigned categories.
- Be the Procurement Subject Matter Expert on assigned categories.
- Strategic planning: Develop long term strategic category plans for the assigned categories.
- Develop best procurement practices and support implementation of these practices across relevant geographies and sites.
- Manage RFP processes until contract execution to support Business projects.
- Develop and manage Global agreements design and lead global commercial negotiation.
**DESIGN AND BUILD CATEGORY STRATEGIES**:
- Be responsible for Category Strategies definition.
- Design and build relevant category strategies leveraging IPSEN Category Management framework partnering closely with Business stakeholders, Procurement teams, Finance and any other relevant functions.
- Develop communication package and tools to support implementation of category plans and strategies.
**SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT**:
- Be responsible for SRM processes already existing or to be defined.
- Build SRM strategy, objectives and planning in collaboration with the relevant business stakeholders.
- Serve as the Procurement lead for defining and establishing Supplier Relationship Management activities.
**CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT OF THE PROCUREMENT COMMUNITY**
- Be responsible for Category Savings pipeline and Procurement performance across the organization.
- Encourage cross-market and cross-functional collaboration to take advantage of synergies.
- Promote, facilitate & support compliance of Category sourcing strategies, processes & tools.
You must have **excellent communication skills in French and English.**
