**Position Summary**:
The Logistics Manager will provide best in class logistics service to the P&I supply chain and customer base by engaging with leading logistics providers at lowest price points.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and upgrade the logistics supplier base of P&I aiming to achieve a high standard of cost effectiveness, supply reliability, performance, supply chain integrity and compliance.
- Seek new Logistics suppliers who can offer P&I value by being cost-effective, deliver the required level of service and can be relied upon to support P&I ahead of other customers.
- Take control of all major negotiations with logistics providers.
- Lead rigorous analyses of spend data for logistic services, wherever the money is spent within P&I.
- Build a true logistics capability that is agnostic to P&I local entity borders. Ensure that the right product is available to all EMEA customers, even if the local entity is unable to supply.
- Constantly seek new logistics methodologies which improve product availability or reduce the cost to deliver.
- Ensure core metrics are developed, shared and met with the whole logistics teams members.
- Represent the enterprise-wide view of logistics in senior manager reviews and strategy making.
- Manage, harmonize, and coordinate the logistics teams members across P&I EMEA.

**Person Specification**:
**_Education, Qualifications and Affiliations _**

Essential
- BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or engineering.

Desirable
- CILT Level 5 Professional diploma (or equivalent)

Completed qualifications from an accredited institution may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

**Licenses Or Certifications**:
Essential
- Full Driving License
- Full valid passport (Eligible to work in the UK)

**Experience**:
Essential
- Demonstrable experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar position. (Preferably within a project-based business)
- Previous experience of working in a Manufacturing / Engineering company.
- International remit experience, preferably across UK, Europe and Middle East.
- Experience of sourcing from an international supply chain.
- Detailed understanding of Incoterms 2020.
- Proven track record of cost savings and supplier improvement including quality, cost and delivery
- Comfortable working on a number of projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of business strategy and methodology.
- Computer literate and able to use a wide range of software packages.
- People management experience.

Desirable
- Previous experience gained within the industry or similar industries i.e. Mechanical, O&G, Energy and Power Generation.
