We are currently looking for a **Multimedia Specialist **as a visual storyteller to join the team within the **Communications **department on our **Fontainebleau **campus. This is a permanent, full-time position.

The job holder who can design content that can inspire and generate engagement for internal and external audiences across the globe. The visual storyteller will be required to produce, edit, and publish video, motion graphics, audio and multimedia content that showcase the school’s work and key messages across its digital channels.

The position will report to the Director of Digital Communications and ladder up to the Global Director of Communications. The job holder will regularly interact with colleagues across the organisation and be expected to support and be involved in team-wide initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop short and long-form projects across video, motion graphics, podcasts, etc. that showcase the school’s key messages.
- Shoot, edit, and post-produce videos and podcasts to a variety of deadlines.
- Work with colleagues to develop and expand the school’s multimedia vision, helping the organisation evolve as a brand and better serve its key stakeholders and audiences.
- Use design principles, and creativity to conceptualise the design direction.
- Determine communication mediums, purpose, and targeted audience to guide the design process.
- Create templates and oversee tools to allow for branded content to be created by non-technical users (Canva or other platforms).
- Create audio-visual production guidelines for the institution.
- Manage and edit video/audio freelancers and external partnerships.
- Assess data & analytics to inform design plans.
- A university or technical degree in communications, marketing, art, video/visual production, or equivalent job experience.
- A minimum of 3+ years professional experience with multimedia design and content creation.
- Can show a portfolio of recent, relevant work.
- Able to report, produce, and technically direct video and audio productions in the field and in the studio.
- Excellent knowledge of storyboarding, visual design principles, and animation.
- Expertise in formatting multimedia content specific to social media platforms (Instagram, FB, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc).
- Eager to learn new skills both in your own specialty and from the rest of the team.
- Experience with 360 video, VR, and AR a plus.
- Fluent in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, evaluate/weigh issues and trends.
- Fluency in English. Working knowledge of French a plus.
- Fluency in post-production and editing tools and workflows, with a significant specialisation in Adobe’s Premiere, After Effects, Audition and Final Cut Pro.
- Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite, with a solid knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Experience in 3D creation/compositing packages, such as Cinema 4D or Blender.
