**INTERNSHIP** - **Project Manager / Translator - 35h/week - about 2months**

**Place of work**: At our agency in Paris, 20th arrondissement, 5 days a week.

**Duration**: 2 months or more of internship **with the possibility of a full-time position at the end of internship**

**Salary**: Unpaid internship

This is the average amount; the actual amount may vary from month to month depending on the number of actual working days

**Tasks & Responsibilities - **during the internship you will participate in the following tasks:

- manage the relationship with clients & vendors
- analyse and assess the complexity of a document
- prepare cost estimates under your superior’s control
- prepare vendors’ POs
- proofread & translate documents from French into English, your native-level tongue
- prepare glossaries
- manage projects

**Industry**:
Our translation agency is dedicated to the luxury industry: Cosmetics, perfumery, leather goods, jewellery, art. We are exclusively B2B-oriented.

**Experience, curriculum & skills we are looking for**:

- mother tongue level in English with a very good command of the French language
- passionate about the luxury world, curious to learn the relevant terminology
- ability to write well
- graduated from a translation school or will be shortly
- friendly and always willing to help
- looking to join a small, energetic quality-oriented team

Founded in 1997, POLYPHONIA is a Paris-based translation agency specializing in cosmetics, perfumery, fashion and luxury goods. It has since built up a network of experienced professional linguists all over the world and delivers high-quality and efficient translation, localization, transcription and interpreting services to renowned companies.

- Translation test - if your CV & cover letter match the requirements, we will invite you to complete a translation test from French into English. You will have 1h30 to complete the test. This will allow us to assess if your writing style matches with our needs.
- Online interview - if your translation test matches our requirements, we would like to learn more about you to confirm that you are a good fit for this opportunity and answer any questions you may have.

**Start of internship**: as soon as possible
