Senior Analyst

We are seeking a talented Senior Analyst to join our Commercial & Analytics team and drive strategic pricing decisions that optimize value for our customers.

As a Senior Analyst for our marketplace product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our pricing strategy and maximizing revenue growth. You will lead the development of pricing models, oversee pricing/revenue initiatives, and partner closely with teams across the organization to ensure successful execution. Your ability to blend quantitative analysis with strategic thinking will be instrumental in achieving our business objectives.

This role reports into the Director of Marketing and Marketplace Analytics, part of the broader marketing team, which operates across all brands and geographies. The role can be based out of any of our 4 office locations: Aix-en-Provence, Amsterdam, Berlin and London.

Your role includes the following:

- Develop and refine pricing models and strategies to drive revenue optimization, market competitiveness, and customer value perception
- Lead the complete lifecycle of pricing and revenue projects, utilizing quantitative methods for aligned pricing decisions and seamless execution across cross-functional teams
- Formulate A/B test frameworks, encompassing rigorous experimental designs and statistical analyses, to discern the impact of pricing adjustments on user behavior, revenue metrics, and overall business performance
- Partner with Product and Marketing teams to integrate intricate market trends, customer segmentation insights, and competitive landscapes into the pricing framework, enhancing value proposition positioning
- Monitor key performance indicators related to pricing/revenue management and proactively identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Develop and deliver clear, actionable pricing recommendations to senior leadership, accompanied by data-driven insights and rationale
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging pricing trends, and technological advancements to continuously improve pricing strategies
- 6+ years of experience in pricing/revenue management preferably within a two-sided marketplace
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, data manipulation, advanced Excel & SQL
- Experience with R, Python or other data analysis and visualization platforms is a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in building and interpreting pricing models, conducting A/B tests, and analyzing experimental results
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and other teams to drive collaborative decision-making
- Professional English language skills
