Being a transversal role, main responsibility is to overview the creditworthiness of our Supply portfolios and manage the credit risk exposure accordingly (credit risk mandates, overdue monitoring ). The economic environment is also key and needs also to be followed.**: **Role**: **Portfolio Management** - Analysis and follow-up of exposures in terms of counterparty risk and credit risk reviews of Front Office’s transactions/contracts. - Financial analysis and credit risk reviews on transactions/contracts falling under Origination Committees in collaboration with local credit risk and Origination oversight team - Follow-up on credit risk indicators and ensure credit limits are compliant with risk mandates validated at Supply Risk Committee and/or CRME in coordination with Reporting team - Present recommendation to Credit Risk Management and to Committees. **Participate to the GEMS Supply risk management governance** - Update the GEMS risk policy and sections related to B2B Supply credit risk. - Participate to the transversal monitoring of credit risk data on a monthly basis - Support the presentation of the related charts / dashboard in GEMS Supply Risk Committee - Support on ad-hoc analysis and projects within the Finance & Risk teams. **Key activities carried out by the Credit Risk function include**: - Redaction and follow-up of the GEMS Risk Policy - Review of Supply contracts and related credit clauses - Liaising with external credit insurers and/or Brokers - Communicating with Legal department on contracts and collaterals Hard skills: **Must have**: - Financial analysis - Strong analytical skills - Portfolio Management **Good to have**: - Good knowledge of energy markets - Project Management - Good level of Excel functions: ability to audit Excel models **Soft skills**: **Must have**: - Team player - Good communication skills - Enjoy collaborative environments and working closely with others - Ability to work effectively with all Business Platforms **Good to have**: - Strong emphasis on accuracy, coupled with analytical and problem-solving skills - Capacity to handle and prioritize various credit risk requests simultaneously - Good stress resilience **Education and professional background**: - Education level: Master degree - Between 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a credit risk position, or relevant finance or accounting activity (_ideally in a trading or banking environment)_ **Languages**: - **Fluent in English: written & oral**: - Fluent in French: written & oral **Travels**: - Seldom **_If you meet these requirements, then you are the talent we are looking for.
