**JOB PURPOSE**:
To achieve the Customer expectation, the Product Quality and Sensory Engineer has overall responsibility to support the development, implementation of Manufacturing Control Plans; within McCain CE, MAE, Van Geloven and Lutosa; acting from Raw materials to fork, and to check the implementation of the standard, train of teams.

Report to: FS&Q | Product Quality & Sensory Manager

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
**Product Quality**:
In collaboration with the Product Quality and Sensory Manager and plants teams, the Product Quality and Sensory Engineer:

- Write the standard operating procedures related to the control of incoming ingredients, packaging materials, work in process, finished goods, co made products.
- Update the documentation and implement the new equipment as need
- Train the users.

The Product Quality and Sensory Engineer is responsible for the Measurement System Analysis (MSA) (equipment and people) follow up and participate with the support of production, Tech ops, Operational Quality team and TAM, to Problem solving and project management.

Champion a strong Food Safety and Quality culture across the organization, creating an environment where decisions are made in line with the McCain quality value, and drives a technical understanding of food safety, risks and impacts into the business. Drive a quality first mindset with food safety built into business processes at the very earliest points.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- Master’s degree in food science with Quality
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working within food manufacturing organization in Quality
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with teams are required.
- Ready to spend time on the shop floor and quality lab.
