Product Owner

**Job Summary**

Under the management of the Chief Client Officer, the Product Owner for Salesforce is responsible for working with business stakeholders to accomplish their goals effectively and on schedule.

The Product Owner works to deliver features defined in compliance with SCOR’s process policies, practices, guidance and tools to the sales operations of the L&H Business Unit.

The Product Owner will partner with the team supporting the Salesforce platform to align on company objectives and strategy.

Job Responsibilities

The Product Owner's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Manage, maintain, simplify, and improve existing Salesforce functionality
- Increase an understanding of Agile practices, Lean Startup, new technologies opportunities and other new trends
- Plan, direct, and coordinate projects to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames
- Create business user stories
- Accountable for the product backlog and prioritization of user stories with team members
- Develop a deep understanding of the business and product needs and is a recognized voice of the business to the team
- Actively participates in Intake meetings, Requirement Gathering, Product Backlog grooming sessions and Salesforce team's release planning sessions
- Ensure a daily high level of support for Salesforce users internally
- Maintain awareness of technology advancements and identify enhancements to improve efficiency and deliver value
- Develop and maintain roadmap of strategic projects and priorities
- Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product
- Document Key processes
- Handles some regular data clean-up work on every kind of objects in Salesforce
- Organise trainings and demo
- Animate a community of Salesforce contributors
- Is a member of the Salesforce committee and contribute actively to the preparation of the meetings.

**Required experience & competencies**
- + 5 years in Agile on a similar role
- Experience in data management and IT system integrations preferred
- Experience working with IT teams required
- Experience managing the delivery of highly complex projects required
- Capacity to define product requirements and development, to maintain / prioritize a backlog, to use data for decision-making
- Experience in Salesforce administration, product owner, SCRUM Master and configuration preferred
- Strong business and financial acumen coupled with a strategic mindset to efficiently bridge the gap between business demands and the squad’s works, balancing business needs with technical works, translating technical content and key messages to a non-technical audience and vice-versa
- Must be well-organized and able to structure, analyze, and answer major business questions, balancing multiple requests and competing priorities
- Strong communication skills: oral, written, and presentation, plus the ability to communicate in a multicultural environment
- A results-oriented individual who takes initiative, makes things happen, accepts accountability
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite like Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word and Visio and standard Enterprise systems
- Experience in the Life Insurance sector would be a plus.

**Required Education**
- Master degree in computer science/ engineering/ business
