This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of most exciting game studios, using leading technology to create new genre-defining games, within our collaborative Action RPG team.
New Tales is currently looking for a highly motivated and talented **Environment Artist intern (F/M) **to join our adventure at NEW TALES.
**WHAT IS THE JOB ABOUT?**
As part of the environment team you will contribute to the game by doing props, vegetation, rocks or architectures in a colorful universe. You will help producing all types of 3D assets in a semi-realistic style to build the game's scenery while respecting the artistic and technical constraints of the project.
**THAT IS GREAT BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR THE DAY TO DAY?**
- Create 3D props and other environmental assets, from concept, modelisation, texturing to integration:
- Modeling with MAYA
- Texturing & materials with Substance/Photoshop
- Sculpt with Zbrush
- Assets integration & Level Art into Unreal
- Collaborate with the technical and artistic team to set up the production pipeline
- Compose the sets in the engine in close collaboration with the level design
**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- A book to support your artistic abilities in various styles as well as your technical knowledge.
- Mastery of software associated with the production of new generation real-time 3D assets (Soft 3D type Maya / Blender, Substance painter / Photoshop etc.)
- Modeling/texturing/sculpt/Integration in Engine
- Student at the end of School (min Bachelor or equivalent)
- Spoken and written English
**WHAT ARE A PLUS?**
- Knowledge in Organics assets
- Unreal: Level Art / Shader
- Experience as a player and/or a previous role on an Action RPG
- Experience with Unreal and/or Unity
- French spoken
