Piping Flexibility Group Leader

You are a graduate of a general engineering school in mechanics and like teamwork for concrete achievements. You want to contribute to the energy transition by participating in the design and construction of biosourced units, the materials recycling, CO2 capture and green hydrogen production.

You want to put your professional knowledge into practice and express your technical skills on innovative projects. In addition to your technical expertise, you are an enterprising, autonomous and dynamic communicator. You have excellent communication skills and you easily adapt to a multicultural environment. You are proactive, have good analytical skills and you integrate quickly thanks to your versatility.

You master the CAESAR software and ideally, you also know the ANSYS Mechanical or Fepipe/Nozzle Pro software.

**About the Job**:
We are currently looking for a Piping Flexibility Calculation Group Leader to join our team based in Lyon, France.

To support our development, we are recruiting an M/F mechanical calculation engineer to strengthen the Piping Calculation and Support Section at our Lyon center. As part of a team of 10 employees, you will actively participate in carrying out mechanical studies and ensure the optimization of technical solutions in the biofuels, biosourced and plastic recycling sectors, where Lyon is a pilot center for the group.

After training on the tools, methods, business and environments, your main missions will be as follows:
Define the rules and criteria associated with the flexibility calculation and risk analysis of piping lines.

Supervise a team of calculation specialists.

Carry out or have carried out thermomechanical dimensioning calculations of piping lines on the CAESAR software in accordance with the French, European or American normative field.

Provide internal technical support to designers for the definition of routes and associated supports.

Analyze components under pressure in static, fatigue, thermal by analytical calculations or by Finite Elements (modeling, simulation and post-processing according to the standards and regulations in force).

Identify and justify technical solutions.

Write technical prescriptions for studies and/or realization of modifications to piping and supports.

Set up computer tools allowing the automation of sizing.

Produce calculation notes for presentation to the certifying body (control of the associated justification files).

Achieve multidisciplinary coordination.
- Assist projects on topics related to flexibility calculations and FEA calculations.
