- To improve the understanding of electro-catalytic CO2 conversion technologies and to participate in the scale-up of this electroconversion process, TotalEnergies is recruiting a

- The position is based in Saclay (with very frequent missions to Germany and other frequent international travel).
- The main responsibilities will be as follows:

- 1. Participate in the develop the CO2 electroconversion process:
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team (10 people)
- Conduct one or more projects
- Internalize the results from external collaborations and disseminate them within the organization.
- Ensure that deadlines are met and that R&D know-how is maintained, developed and used.
- Promote scientific communication through participation in scientific seminars.

2. Budget:
- Contribute to the definition of the budget.

3. Cooperative Activities:
- Participate in exchanges with other company entities to develop the CO2 electroconversion process & communicate on the progress of the joint lab.- PhD and/or Postdoc in the field of CO2 electroconversion.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience (PhD and Postdoc included) in the field of electroconversion/electrocatalysis.
- Good knowledge of chemistry, catalysis and chemical engineering.
- Experience in the field of process-synthesis modeling of catalysts will be a plus.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, French and German would be a plus
