Our ultimate goal is to be recognized as the most innovative, capable, and trusted Risk Management partner in the world, and we do this by following these core values: Integrity - Collaboration - Relationships - Excellence - Creativity - Results We are currently looking to hire a **Senior Threat Assessment Manager** to join our team (embedded with our client in France) - **This position allows for Remote work arrangements from France only.** **JOB DESCRIPTION**: The Senior Threat Assessment Manager will be responsible for comprehensive threat assessment management for client staff and operations while contributing to and protecting client culture and business interests. This role provides behavioral threat assessments, case management, and other related security management services to address external threats to the client company. The scope of the role pertains to threats to life safety to the company, employees, and partner community as directed by the client. Threat managers will perform these tasks using client-supplied equipment, network access, and information platforms. Threat Managers will perform these duties via the following: - Adherence to prescribed program policies and procedures - Coordination with the greater team of cross-functional program groups to provide immediate and collaborative incident management when needed. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Develop and maintain comprehensive threat research regionally. - Provide mentorship and guidance as the senior member of the team - Identify, investigate, analyze, and manage global threats to executive staff and employees - Produce practical and concise threat analysis products in a timely manner to advise cross-functional groups, executive staff protection, and enterprise-wide security operations - Lead Safety and Security team relationships with local law enforcement partners and other investigative, research, intelligence groups, and vendors. - Work closely with client customer service team members on threats - Maintain global situational awareness of the potential and developing threats and prepare impact analyses - Work complex security incidents with multiple team members, including those without experience in the threat and intelligence fields. - Lead regional cross-functional program syncs to educate and develop improved threat capabilities. - Assist in program development with workflow creation, threat methodology research, and other planning products. - Have a team-focused approach to problem-solving. - Be comfortable communicating with everyone, from senior executives to entry-level employees. - Ability to translate sophisticated security issues so your specific audience can consume and understand them. - Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**: - 10+ years of Law Enforcement experience or equivalent public/civil service. - Must be bilingual (French & English) and proficient in written and verbal English language. - Experience supporting a comprehensive threat management program and direct experience conducting investigations, intelligence collection and analysis, and case management. - Current member (or ability to become a member) of professional threat assessment organizations (i.e., Association of Threat Assessment Professionals). - Ability to work some non-traditional hours (e.g., nights, weekends, or holidays) and respond to emergent or time-sensitive situations. - Excellent written and oral communication skills, proven during the interview process. - Bachelor's degree preferred (years of experience may be substituted). - Must be highly adaptable and flexible. - Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively and cross-functionally. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**: - International experience/living abroad - Regional expertise in Latin America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East - Language skills - Data analysis - Planning and policy drafting - Training and Exercise experience - Experience incident commander **PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS**: - Pre-employment background check - Must be eligible to work in France - Must posses a valid French passport with the ability to travel international
