If putting compassion first, helping create groundbreaking products and continuously iterating & refining those products sound like you, then we encourage you to apply. **Working location**: **Location**: Reports to: Director of Agile Practices **Responsibilities**: - Act as a servant leader and coach for the development team, ensuring adherence to Scrum and Kanban principles and practices. - Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure effective collaboration, transparency, and accountability across geographically dispersed teams - Collaborate with product owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring its readiness for sprint planning and refining sessions. - Drive the implementation and adoption of Kanban practices within appropriate teams in the organization. - Optimize the team's virtual Kanban board, including defining and enforcing Work in Progress (WIP) limits and managing flow metrics - Identify bottlenecks, delays, and areas for improvement in the workflow, and work with the team to implement effective solutions - Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality work - Foster a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and encouraging experimentation and innovation - Track and communicate project metrics, such as team velocity, lead time, and cycle time, to identify areas for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making - Coach and mentor team members on agile practices, promoting self-organization, empowerment, and a growth mindset - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment, and prioritization of work - Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Kanban Masters to share new trends and tools and best practices, to promote innovation while ensuring consistency across teams. **Requirements**: - Proven experience as a Scrum Master with a minimum of 3 years of experience. - Demonstrable experience working with Kanban methodologies and successfully implementing Kanban systems in an agile development environment - Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills - Ability to lead and influence without direct authority, fostering a collaborative and self-organizing team environment - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement - Familiarity with agile tools like Jira and project management software - Experience working with remote teams, distributed across multiple time-zones is preferred - Knowledge and experience in the FinTech space if preferred - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Kanban Management Professional (KMP) certification is preferred - Continuous learning mindset, staying up to date with the latest trends and practices in agile methodologies.
