With deep roots in music, art, architecture and what is contemporary, Axel Arigato has defined itself by offering more than a product. It has been created to leave an experience at the front of mind, whether it’s via stores, online or through events. Axel Arigato currently has 8 stores, including London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Munich & Paris with more pending. Expanding from 2 people to now hiring over 100 members of staff in 7 years, Axel Arigato also operates a subsidiary office in London.

**MORE ABOUT THE ROLE**

As **Assistant** **Store Manager** you are responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing an energetic, vibrant team to drive the profitability of your store. As well as supporting your colleagues with a hands-on approach, you’re somebody who is eager to learn, takes accountability and responsibility. Someone who thrives in an innovative and expanding organization. While we seek engagement and passion from our members, we offer support to you from our offices (including People & Culture, Finance, Operations and Brand) as well as your in-store team.

The responsibilities of an Assistant Store Manager include but are not limited to:

- Providing excellent customer service
- Assist the Store Manager in managing stock and inventory
- Train customer relationship management
- Maintain and execute visual merchandising
- Assist in controlling and reporting administrative management

As part of the Axel Arigato management team you are expected to amongst other things:

- Uphold the Axel Arigato culture in store
- Support, coach, train and your team to become the best versions of themselves
- Work closely with management to ensure the right communication flow

- Passionate about Axel Arigato products and brand.
- Prior (assistant) management experience in retail. Experience with high-end retail brands is an advantage.
- Experience from working in a department store.
- Great leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong selling techniques.
- Self-motivated and can take initiative and open for development.
- Have a humble approach and contribute to a good team spirit.
- Willing to work flexible hours and availability as per business needs.
