Context of the “Sustainability Research Specialist” position

Reporting directly to the Manager of the Procurement & Sustainability practice, and in liaison with other TOLSON activities, your role will be to contribute to the success of the Sustainable Business Community (SBC), a unique peer-to-peer benchmarking community launched by TOLSON that has the objective of bringing together sustainability professionals from large enterprises to exchange directly with their peers on specific ESG challenges.

We address Environment, Social, Governance and Reporting topics in SBC, we are currently recruiting a specialist for the Environment and Social pillars.

As a Sustainability Research Specialist, your tasks are divided into:
Client relationship
- Organize regular meetings in English and in French with our clients to understand their challenges and areas of expertise on the topics addressed in SBC
- Respond to client requests for benchmarks
- Build a relationship with client

Research and building deliverables:

- Do research on ESG topics
- Research how other companies are doing and conduct benchmarks
- Write articles
- Produce high quality deliverables

Workshop organization and moderation
- Source high quality speakers
- Identity the right topics to address in the workshop
- Design the workshop to be engaging
- Moderate the workshop in French and English
- Workshop topics can include: Biodiversity, Scope 3, Avoided emissions, Water stewardship, Circular Economy, Living Wage, DEI, etc

Ecosystem outlook
- Identify innovative providers and build a relationship with them
- Organize events to bring together external ecosystem and our client network

Internal tasks
- Participate in sales, marketing and events activities
- Contribute to rituals (monthly or weekly meetings, training, etc.)
- Maintain, develop and share your expertise

Future tasks can include participating to consulting missions.

How we see you
- You have between 2 and 5 years' experience in CSR, Sustainable Finance, Environment or Human Rights consulting, or in a major group working in these areas.
- CSRD, ISSB, Scope 3, SBTI... these are acronyms that don't scare you
- You've already worked with large groups
- You've already led workshops as part of projects or inter/intra-company exchanges.
- Bilingual French - English

Status: Cadre

Pay: From 40,000.00€ per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- 75009 Paris: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
