Business Controller

**About the role**

Storio group is looking for a Business Controller for our manufacturing site in Nanteuil-Le-Haudouin, where you'll play a vital role within the Management Team, serving as the financial conscience and driving decision-making. Reporting to the Group business Control Manager with a dotted line to the Plant Director, this position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with the Business Controllers across various locations (Netherlands, Germany, and Spain) while engaging with all departments on-site.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders
- Ensure, together with the accounting team, the month end close cycle
- Timely delivery of the monthly business report with relevant analyses and insights to the MT and to the senior manufacturing leadership team
- Lead the yearly budget cycle and deliver the budget
- Collect information and make calculations to support Business cases
- Identify risks and opportunities
- Create ad-hoc financial analysis for managers
- Maintain cost price information up to date
- Initially on-site, the role offers potential for partial remote work after 6-12 months.

- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and informed financial decision-making.
- Oversee efficient month-end close cycles in collaboration with the accounting team, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
- Provide timely, insightful monthly business reports to the Management Team and senior manufacturing leadership, aiding strategic decisions.
- Lead the annual budget cycle, delivering budget plans that align with organizational objectives
- .Analyze data to support business cases, identify risks and opportunities, and conduct ad-hoc financial analysis for managers, contributing to informed and strategic choices.

**Experience and attributes we value**:

- A Bachelor or Masters degree in Finance or Economics
- 3+ years of experience, preferably in a dynamic and/or production environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel
- Enjoy working in a multicultural business environment
- Experienced in working with data analytics tool, such as Looker

**Nice to Have Experience**:

- Experience with Oracle and Google platforms is an advantage
