**The role**

The compliance Analyst is expected to own the compliance function for PrimaryBid SA, including relevant regulatory positions. This is a great opportunity for ad Compliance professional to rapidly expand their knowledge and experience in a Capital Markets FinTech firm. Unlike working in a large bank, you will not be siloed into one area of Compliance. Instead, you'll be involved in and learn about all aspects of Compliance in a small regulated firm and expected to generate impact every day.

**Key responsibilities**

PrimaryBid SA compliance function responsibilities:

- Perform controls according to plans and assigned roles, report and escalate any issue, propose action plans
- Act as the main interface with the regulator and submit regulatory reportings (RACI, RACI-LCBFT, prudential reportings )
- Monitor the activities outsourced, check KPIs received and compared with SLAs
- Keep the compliance package (risks mapping, control plans, procedures and policies ) up-to-date and propose continued improvements
- Manage the administrative life of the firm, eg Board organisation

Deal processing compliance responsibilities:

- Manager the insiders' lists
- Proceed with issuers/sellers on-boarding (eg review information collected, proceed with MIFID 2 clients' classification )
- Proceed with 4-eye checks / double validation (as a back-up)
- Raise any issue

- Persistent in the face of roadblocks; addresses them efficiently, pulling in others as necessary.

Communication and Leadership
- Consistently and effectively communicates both progress and issues at the right time to the right people including managers, peers and team.
- Mentors and supports junior team members through sharing learnings and best practices.
- Communicates and partners effectively across functions; is able to work well with any function necessary.

**Discipline Requirements**
- Ample post qualified experience within financial institutions or as a consultant
- General understanding of the compliance framework
- Competency balancing compliance/legal risk with business objectives
- Outsourcing control and monitoring
- Technical skills: MIFID2, MAR, AML-CFT
- Business fluency in both French and English
