**Summary / Role Purpose**

Autonomous vehicles will drive millions of kilometers in the virtual world before the first driverless cars hit the road. Ansys is building a software toolchain to demonstrate safety in the virtual world prior to commercial deployment. We invite you to join the team that enables this disruptive technology.

You assess how well the product meets customer needs both in terms of functionality and usability and ensures that product requirements and quality standards are satisfied as per the company’s quality procedures.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Prepare validation plans based on functional specifications and use cases associated to the new features integrated in our products
- Redact functional and regression testing in manual and/or automated test environments
- Perform the tests to ensure quality control of Ansys products, in a variety of environments: Windows/Linux, Physical Server/VM/Docker, Cloud
- Report defects, review and reproduce defects reported by other teams, follow up and verify fixes
- Perform other duties as assigned to improve the overall quality of Ansys products

**Minimum Qualifications and Skills**
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Significant experience with programming language (ideally C#) and scripting language (ideally Python)
- Proficient with Windows and Linux operating systems

**Preferred Qualifications and Skills**
- Experience with automation and/or BDD frameworks
- Basic understanding of software testing and verification processes; ISTQB certification(s) is(are) an asset
- Experience in working in agile teams following methods like Scrum
- Experience using defect tracking software such as ADO (TFS), Jira, Bugzilla, or similar
- A thorough and careful approach to work; close attention to detail and quality; strong analytical skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Docker is an asset
- Experience with either the Microsoft or Amazon cloud environments is an asset
- DevOps background is an asset
