Senior Test Engineer to Work at Multinational

**We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer for a client project in Strasbourg.**

**Task description**:
**Support Member States (MS) User Acceptance Testing**:

- Follow-up and contribute on the MS support tasks;
- Contribute to the questions raised by MS regarding the related deliverables;
- Raise any risk, issue or change related to test results as soon as it is being detected;
- Escalate immediately to ensure the necessary and appropriate actions are taken;
- Analyse and validate the test specifications;
- Review the TSRs and test evidence of type of testing performed by other Contractors.

**End-User testing activities Quality Control**:

- Monitor the test platforms for the tests;
- End-User testing activities quality control on respective environments;
- Ensure the system under test corresponds to the defined document descriptions;
- Ensure compliance of activities within the Contracting Authority's (CA) framework, policies and methodologies.

**Review project and test deliverables according to internal guidelines, improving the quality of test management**:

- Contribute to the deliverables assigned to other Contractors;
- Review functional, non-functional and security requirements, test cases, related deliverables to identify incomplete, inconsistent, incorrect items and ensure that all dependencies are covered;
- Review test cases, scenarios and test scripts prepared by other Contractors;
- Review the TSRs and test evidence of type of testing performed by other Contractors;
- Propose improvements in order to comply with the CT test campaign needs;
- Follow the review cycle of the deliverables;
- Follow-up other contractor testing activities related with PSAT, MS or other UAT testing:

- Gather all the test results along with test evidence for the PSAT, MS or other UAT testing (to be done by the Contracting Authority and User Entities like MS) as well as other ad hoc free-testing activities, perform an analysis of the test results and update the Contracting Authority on the effectiveness of the testing performed;
- Participation on technical review meetings;
- Escalate any issue that can affect the Member State activities to the client.
- Follow the plan and observe the campaign processes and execution as planned by CA;
- Improve Contractors' products quality;
- Identify dependencies with other Contractors and systems.

**Propose Improvements on the test management process including test tools**:

- Introduce necessary improvements and corrective actions on the existent and target processes;
- Advise on optimizations;
- Continuous improvement of the service quality;
- Contribute to the lessons learned;
- Ensuring readiness of the Test environments;
- Contribute to client efforts to integrate project tickets and deliverables into CSI catalogue test tools.

**Job requirements**:

- University degree (master or equivalent) in Computer Science;
- Minimum 6 years of relevant IT experience;
- Minimum 4 years of automated and manual software non-functional testing experience with Stress tests tools (Jmeter), and experience with, Requirements and Defect Management tools (Jira), Code Quality Review tools (eg, SonarQube), Test Execution Monitoring tools (Splunk).
- Proven experience of testing technologies, good knowledge in infrastructure and networking and tools such as Stress tests tools (Jmeter); Code Quality Review tools (eg SonarQube), Test Execution Monitoring tools (Splunk), etc.), (eg Automation Testing tools (eg TOSCA), Test Management tool (eg Qtest, QC), Requirements and Defect Management tools (Jira);
- Keen interest on quality and intense attention to detail;
- Ability to analyze results of testing correctly and to report on them efficiently;
- Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies;
- Very good English writing skills;
- Capacity in writing documents;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively with development team;
- Experience and willingness of working in an intemational/multicultural environment;
