The Company If you want to grow your skills and develop your career, find out more at The Position ENERGY MANAGER RAC ( Refractory, Abrasives & Construction) H/F Job Summary Role overview: Supports energy related initiatives aiming at reducing the BA’s energy consumption, costs and carbon footprint, and to meet regulatory / emissions constraints Reports To: RAC Industrial Support Director Direct reports: None. Coordination with Hub Continuous Improvement Managers, Hub and plant technical and engineering personnel Responsibilities and Duties: - Defines energy cost / usage optimization and carbon footprint reduction strategy across the BA operations sites with efficiency and sourcing levers, in coordination with Imerys Purchasing and Industrial CoE- Sets targets for energy consumption and costs reduction- Defines and implements energy related KPIs, and consolidates energy reporting at BA level- Monitors energy usage, efficiency, practices and costs in order to identify improvement opportunities- Coordinates energy efficiency improvement initiatives across BA- Participates occasionally in I-Nergize (IMERYS’ CoE energy efficiency audits) in BA plants, incl. diagnostics, action plan definition, savings assessment- Follows up on the progress of actions defined by the I-Nergize assessments, provides technical support to implement these actions & projects as needed- Provides coaching of energy / process experts on the field. Provides on the field technical support to major energy efficiency programs- Coordinates market watch for best practices and local regulatory evolutions- Provides technical and coordination support for renewable energy projects.
