**Technical Support Specialist**

Nexway - Nîmes, Occitanie, France (Sur site)

**Project description**:
Nexway is a global e-commerce provider with French origins and an eleven-year history. The company is actively developing its modern technological platform and is looking for open and proactive people to join its team in Nîmes

**Job Purpose**:
**Principal Accountabilities / Critical tasks**:

- Hardware and Software - installation & maintenance, onsite and remotely
- Answering help desk requests, creation/resolution ticket in ITSM tool
- Provide first line support on user account (user creation, passwords)
- Set up, configure and install new PCs and associated equipment; ensure all PCs and laptops are up to date with security updates
- Manage equipment catalog, select what to purchase and manage the inventory (laptops, accessories, storage media )
- Network technics (Installation and maintenance); provide first line support for network infrastructure equipment (switches and routers)
- Support around the ongoing business; IT daily jobs (acceptance of support requests; handling of First level requests, Troubleshooting issues to identify root causes accurately)
- Document procedures and user guides
- Prepare technical proposals for improvement together with the line manager

**Qualification Requirements**:

- 2 years plus IT Technical Support experience
- Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems
- Knowledge and experience of IP networks (Routing, Firewall)
- Basic knowledge of Linux administration
- Experience in Asset management
- Experience with Google Workspace welcome
- Microsoft and Linux Certification welcome
- Knowledge of Mac welcome
- Specific education or experience in ICT field (Informational Technician, Telecommunication or similar)
- Excellent service orientation combined with a confident and engaging personality
- Great people skills; customer focused
- A responsible and structured working method; ability to plan, prioritize and organize their own work.
- Team spirit and a positive attitude in reaching aims together; able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of system security techniques
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to details.

- Travel to Paris may be required

Nexway est un fournisseur mondial de commerce électronique d’origine française qui existe depuis onze ans. La société développe activement sa plateforme technologique moderne et recherche des personnes ouvertes et proactives pour rejoindre son équipe de Nîmes.

**Objectif du poste**:
En tant que Support Technique Informatique, vous installerez et configurerez des systèmes informatiques, diagnostiquerez les défaillances matérielles et logicielles et résoudrez les problèmes techniques et applicatifs, que ce soit par téléphone ou en personne.

**Principales responsabilités / tâches essentielles**:

- Matériel et logiciels - installation et maintenance, sur site et à distance
- Réponse aux demandes du service d’assistance, création/résolution de tickets dans l’outil ITSM
- Fournir un support de première ligne sur les comptes utilisateurs (création d’utilisateurs, mots de passe)
- Mettre en place, configurer et installer de nouveaux PC et équipements associés ; s’assurer que tous les PC et ordinateurs portables sont à jour avec les mises à jour de sécurité.
- Gérer le catalogue des équipements, sélectionner les achats et gérer l’inventaire (ordinateurs portables, accessoires, supports de stockage ).
- Techniques de réseau (installation et maintenance) ; fournir une assistance de première ligne pour l’équipement d’infrastructure de réseau (commutateurs et routeurs)
- Assistance dans le cadre des activités courantes ; tâches informatiques quotidiennes (acceptation des demandes d’assistance ; traitement des demandes de premier niveau, résolution des problèmes afin d’identifier avec précision les causes profondes)
- Documenter les procédures et les guides de l’utilisateur
- Préparer des propositions techniques d’amélioration en collaboration avec le responsable hiérarchique.

**Qualifications requises**:

- 2 ans d’expérience en support technique informatique
- Anglais courant avec d’excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale
- Excellente connaissance des systèmes informatiques
