Gardien /handyman/caretaker

South of France - near St Tropez

Gardien/Caretaker required immediately to work in a private house.

The applicant must:
1. Have previous experience of this type of work

2. Have good spoken French

3. Have the Right to Work in France

Responsible for the overall care and basic maintenance and security of the property and overseeing outside contractors responsible for cleaning, pool maintenance and part of the garden work.

The five bedroom property situated about 1 km from the local village has a swimming pool and extensive grounds.

Daily tasks would include:
1. Maintain gardens and ground including weeding, clearing leaves, watering and clearing garden waste. Reporting problems to owners. Contract Gardener deals with lawns and hedges

2. Maintain swimming pool - washing down pool surround and ensuring that any large debris is cleared immediately and following any instructions provided by Pool Maintenance Contractor

3. Keeping terraces around buildings clear of leaves and debris

4. Maintaining the gravel drive and parking area free of leaves

5. Ensuring that the car/s are in working order, checking oil/water tyres, arranging garage appointments if required and keeping clean

6. Burning of garden waste during permitted months

7. Arranging visits/access for third party contractors as required

8. Dealing with post and deliveries

9. Maintain interior of property to high standard with Cleaner who attends weekly or as required when property is occupied

10. Liaising with contractors as required on behalf of the owners

The level of work during the summer months is much greater than during the winter months and remuneration reflects this.

Accommodation provided and use of car.

Summer 2500 euros pcm

Winter 1800 euros pcm

Pay: 1,800.00€ - 2,500.00€ per month
