About the Role:
Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of media sales in a very international environment? As an intern with our Media Sales team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the advertising media industry and contribute to critical tasks that drive our sales’ team’s success.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Pre Sale insights:
- Competitor Tracking: keep a pulse on advertising spends by monitoring our competitors’ activities across print and digital
- Prospecting: identify key events across Europe, creating a prospecting list for our EMEA sales team. Hunt for new business opportunities identifying key contacts at non endemic categories (auction houses, business schools )
- Agency Collaboration: Update agencies’ competitive decks and assist with their pre-sale templates.
- Billing and Administration: handle account creation, invoices, and other administrative tasks.
- Clients meetings: support the sales team preparing key client meetings: track their ads in the competition, historical spends in the franchise year over year, decks to present
- Luxury & Lifestyle Quarterly Newsletter: coordinate our category’s newsletter, curating content that resonates with our audience.
Post-Sale Excellence:
- Client Communication: Send print voucher copies and e-tears to clients, ensuring seamless post-sale support.
- WSJ. Magazine Coordination: Maintain our mailout sheet and liaise with La Poste to deliver our magazine to clients.
- Quality Assurance: Address any client concerns about printing quality by collaborating with our Print Ad Operations team.
Office Organization:
- Paris Office Management: Organize newspapers, including WSJ Magazine, to keep our workspace efficient. Mail postage (management of mail shipping and sending DHL)
- Sales Leadership Support: Assist in preparing monthly sales meetings by updating numbers and coordinating agendas.
- PR Event Coordination: Manage invitations for high-profile events.
You Have:
Intermediate level in written and spoken French and English
- 3/4 years university or business schools
- Adept at Organizational skills and detailed oriented
- Interest in Sales and Publishing environment
