What you’ll do & Who you are
Senior Tax Manager - France (d/f/m)
The Tax team is responsible for managing local tax affairs in cooperation with other key stakeholders, such as Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and our Shared Services in Romania and India. As a Tax Manager (d/f/m) you will be leading E2E tax initiatives for our French brands (Leboncoin, SCM and Locasun, among others). You will report directly to the CFO of our French business with a dotted line relationship with the Global Head of Tax. This is a hybrid role, and our office is based in Paris.
What you’ll do:
- Be the main point of contact in all French taxes, be accountable for any tax matter related to France- Manage all current and deferred taxes, tax risks of French affairs, tax audits, and tax projects.- Prepare the quarterly tax reporting packages- Review and approve French tax declarations and returns, currently prepared by our tax compliance partner. Oversee tax filing in due time, and ensure full compliance- Support the leadership in ad-hoc tax-related requests- Provide tax accounting support in coordination with the local controlling department and external BPO.- Coordinate the relationship with local tax service providers
Who you are:
- You own a bachelor's or master’s degree in the areas of Finance, or similar- You have gained at least 8 years of experience in an international global environment- You are fluent in French and English- You have gained strong local French GAAP audit knowledge and you have worked with ERP software (SAP S4 HANA or similar)- You can collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders at multiple levels and influence them
