Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare Bidders Lists and issue Request for Proposal (RFP) packages for products and services in order to secure bids in support of operational requirements.- Manage and conduct the process of performing bid evaluations and prepare recommendation documentation for award.- Review and negotiate commercial and legal terms and conditions, interface with other disciplines such as Legal (where appropriate).- Execute Purchase Orders and Service Contracts with selected suppliers.- Manage the supplier from award through to on-site delivery for products and services.- Determine the appropriate sourcing strategy to ensure efficient, economical, and safe transportation of equipment and materials to site, within schedule.- Manage and conduct supplier feedback and performance assessments.- Review, receipt and approve supplier invoices.- Manage the supplier database and assist in the pre-qualification of new suppliers.- Actively contribute to annual savings targets, challenging supplier costs wherever possible.- Develop a constructive and professional relationship with all key stakeholders within the business. Become the customer of choice within the marketplace.- Monitoring the daily operations of procurement activities and reporting progress to the Senior Procurement Specialist.- Operate within World Fuel Services policies, processes and systems and promote compliance at all times.
