**Fundamental AI Research Scientist - FAIR Responsibilities**: - Perform research to advance the science and technology of intelligent machines. - Perform theoretical and empirical research to develop new methods and capabilities of flow generative models. - Perform research involving "real-life" data such as images, video, text, 3D data, and graphs. - Work towards long-term ambitious research goals, while identifying immediate milestones. - Influence progress of relevant research communities by producing publications. - Open source high quality code and produce reproducible research. **Minimum Qualifications**: - Currently has or is in the final stages of obtaining a PhD in AI, computer science, applied mathematics, or related technical fields. - Research background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, computational statistics, or applied mathematics, or related areas. - Research publications reflecting experience in theoretical or empirical research. - Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment. **Preferred Qualifications**: - First-authored publications at peer-reviewed conferences, such as NeuRIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, SIGGRAPH, and other similar venues. - Research and engineering experience demonstrated via publications, grants, fellowships, patents, internships, work experience, open source code, and / or coding competitions. - Experience solving complex problems and comparing alternative solutions, trade-offs, and diverse points of view. - Experience collaborating in a team environment on research projects. - Experience communicating research findings to public audiences of peers. **About Meta**: Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
