Methane Emission Index and OGMP Assurance: Support the geographic expansion of the existing case studies by analyzing available data, considering future data streams, and improving current integration methods Co-supervise new team members working on the detailed implementation of new case studies Monitor the status of ongoing methane science studies and the emission data repository to identify opportunities for and avenues to data integration Development of methane data integration norms and guardrails: Collaborate with external academic experts towards developing norms and guardrails for methane data integration Initiate the development of a workshop with leading methane, climate, and data scientists to establish the status of current and best practices for data integration as a basis for meaningful mitigation of methane emissions Coordinate the process of translating the workshop findings into a peer-reviewed paper Other engagement: Provide support to other IMEO data integration project efforts as needed Ensure scientific rigor of IMEO generated materials, initiatives, and collaborations with diverse stakeholders, including industry, academics, and the public sector as needed Participate and represent IMEO at external meetings, interacting with the scientific community in general Present scientific and policy-relevant results from this work to internal committees and at major conferences
