In this role, your main missions will be:

  • Collaborating within a team of 40 Data & BI Engineers to help build Data Products that improve business processes across all departments of the company (data pipelines, data modeling, semantic models, data visualization, data exposure layers for self-service, etc.)
  • Understanding, designing, implementing, and managing the many KPIs required to steer and monitor the company's activities
  • Providing strategic advice to various Betclic teams to optimize results and data usage: assisting in defining business needs and shaping effective solutions
  • Designing and delivering intuitive and innovative Data Visualizations for both desktop and mobile platforms
  • Monitoring, anticipating, and resolving operational or data quality issues in the pipelines, ensuring data reliability
  • Ensuring the availability, accessibility, and security of data within a dynamic, matrixed organizational environment
  • Participating in on-call rotations related to critical deliverables and major sporting events

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This job is for you if:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a Data & BI Engineer, working with demanding business teams
  • You have deep knowledge of ELT pipeline implementation with DBT
  • You're experienced with Lake House architecture and Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers
  • You're familiar with Snowflake and comfortable using other databases
  • You have advanced SQL skills and can write optimized queries for relational databases
  • You're used to working with data visualization tools, especially Tableau Cloud
  • You've worked in a cloud environment and master CI/CD concepts (Jenkins, GitHub)
  • You're an excellent communicator in both French and English, written and spoken
  • You enjoy cross-functional collaboration, especially with business teams during needs gathering and post-deployment support
  • A passion for sports and sports betting is definitely a plus

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

If your application is shortlisted, Mathilde will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

You will then meet with the
BI squad managers
during an interview. Finally, Mathilde will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
