Overview

Our client is a global leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing, recognised for its expertise in sterile liquid formulations. Operating a large-scale, 24/7 production site with a highly skilled team of professionals, they are now seeking an accomplished Director of Quality & Responsible Pharmacist to drive excellence in product integrity, compliance, and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the Quality Strategy for the site, ensuring compliance with GMP and Public Health regulations.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS) and maintain inspection readiness.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams in in Quality Assurance, Compliance, and Quality Systems.
  • Manage audits, inspections, deviations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • As Responsible Pharmacist, ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for manufacturing, pharmacovigilance, batch release, and product recalls.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and registration to practice (Section B or equivalent).
  • 10–15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including senior Quality leadership in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in sterile operations and deep knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
