You join the Financial Risks team within VEGA IS's Risk Control Department, which is looking for a Financial Risk Analyst, for a 6-month internship from of April 2026.
In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:
- Design and develop ad hoc modules to meet specific needs (programming): risk indicator calculation, monitoring and reporting tool, among others;
- Participate in the preparation of the monthly risk committee;
- Implement a VAR backtesting reporting;
- Consolidate the data from the different GECO/GCP/GSM management systems for monitoring liquidity, rights of way, etc.;
- Improve the monitoring of GCP/GSM controls;
- Monitoring the valuation of structured products.

Required Skills/Qualifications/ExperienceStudent at the BAC+5 level, you are preparing a degree in Market Finance, Econometrics or in an engineering school.
You have a solid knowledge of modeling techniques, including descriptive statistics and statistical modeling.
You master the Office pack, which allows you to perform in-depth analyses and create relevant reports.
You are proficient in Python programming, with knowledge of SQL, and familiarity with VBA would be an asset.
You demonstrate rigor, dynamism and curiosity, essential qualities for success in a complex environment.
You are also a source of proposals, not hesitating to bring innovative ideas to improve processes.
And last but not least, you have a basic proficiency in English.
