About INNOSENSE
INNOSENSE
is an innovation-driven company specialized in electrical component and measurement solutions for the
automotive industry
.
Our
European Innovation Center
, located in the Lyon area, has four main missions:
- Act as the company's advanced
technology and innovation hub
. - Define, together with customers (Power Module makers, Battery Management Unit manufacturers, and OEMs), the next generation of electronic components integrating multiple features (Temperature, Current, Voltage, Software & AI).
- Design, prototype, and validate
new sensor concepts
. - Collaborate closely with our
Chinese R&D center
to support global project development.
We are currently developing a
new concept of sensor based on magnetic field properties
.
Internship Overview
You will join a small and dynamic team of three engineers at our
Brignais Innovation Center
, while also working part-time with researchers and professors at
Labo Ampère (Villeurbanne, Lyon Area)
.
Objective:
contribute to the design, simulation, and prototyping of a next-generation magnetic current sensor.
Main Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze the
physical phenomena
underlying the sensor concept. - Study
magnetic field effects
and ferromagnetic materials' impact on sensor performance. - Analyze different sensor architectures and material configurations.
- Design, build, and test prototypes
. - Compare and validate
simulation results
(COMSOL, etc.) with experimental test bench data. - Define modeling approaches for future design optimization.
- Develop
simulation loops and software tools
to accelerate design iterations. - Analyze performance for various applications, magnetic field levels, and frequencies.
- Conduct
competitive benchmarking
and propose new design features. - Communicate complex engineering results in a
clear, concise, and technically sound
manner.
