About the Role

As part of major energy and industrial projects, Vulcain Engineering is looking for a
Corrosion / RBI Engineer
to support integrity and inspection programs for complex assets. You will play a key role in corrosion management, RBI studies, and technical coordination with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare
    Corrosion Loop Reports
    and collect all required input data for RBI studies (Equipment Lists, MDS, Line Lists, etc.).
  • Identify
    deterioration mechanisms
    and define appropriate inspection strategies in collaboration with
    Process, HSE, and Operations & Maintenance
    teams.
  • Perform RBI assessments using client-selected software tools (e.g.
    Meridium
    ).
  • Deliver high-quality, well-documented RBI reports, including clear assumptions and technical justifications.
  • Participate in technical meetings with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide
    weekly progress reports
    to the RBI Lead and contribute to project follow-up.

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in
    Process Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Corrosion Engineering
    , or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
    applying RBI methodologies in Oil & Gas or Energy projects.
  • Strong knowledge of
    API 580 / API 581
    standards and practical experience with RBI software tools.
  • Good understanding of EPC documentation:
    PDS, MDS, GAD, P&IDs, Line Lists
    , etc.
  • Fluent in English
    (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical mindset, team spirit, and good communication skills.
