System Engineer

CIXI is a startup in active mobility, developing products ranging from the VIGOZ -an active vehicle capable of reaching speeds of up to 120 km/h- to the PERS, a chainless pedaling system designed for electric bikes. Our mission is to enable users to stay active during their daily commutes while reducing their environmental footprint.

You will join the System Engineering team, gathering 6 cross-disciplinary engineers with a global view of our products (VIGOZ and PERS), understanding the needs to define technical architecture in collaboration with development teams. As a system engineer, you will have a central role in innovative products design, disrupting the mobility.

Your responsibilities:

Define: Participate in product definition from clients needs to technical specifications as inputs for development teams.

Architecture: Suggest and build products system architecture to clarify interacting combinations of system components to provide defined features.

Collaborate: Work closely with design teams ensuring all the system components to fit together in harmony.

Innovate: Suggest products and processes improvement.

Share: Help in highlighting system engineering to the teams, with clear and motivating communication supports.

Your profile:

• Technical knowledge (through education, experience…) allowing you to understand and interact with multidisciplinary technical teams (mechanics, software, hardware…).
• You can keep in mind the big picture while being able to navigate through different design levels.
• Since architecturing is not an isolated and lonely job, you like co-creating and communicate easily.
• You are driven by "solutions" and "stakeholders" and facilitate decision-making.
• You can work effectively in English, allowing you to enjoy our international everyday environment.

We will deeply consider an application with knowledge or experience in system engineering and its formalized application of modeling.
