to lead the planning, production, and optimization of high-quality content for our Latin American markets. You will help drive traffic, engagement, and conversions across French-speaking, Spanish-speaking and/or Portuguese-speaking countries, depending on your language skills.
The
Content Manager Western Europe
owns the editorial roadmap for the regions, ensuring that content aligns with SEO best practices, cultural nuances, brand guidelines, and NSN's business objectives. You will collaborate closely with SEO, Product, and Business teams to produce localised and competitive content that resonates with western Europe audiences.
In some cases, you may oversee Content Managers, ensuring smooth workflows, quality control, and continuous improvements.
This role is ideal for someone who combines editorial expertise, strong SEO understanding, regional cultural awareness, and excellent organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Planning & Execution
- Plan and manage the content roadmap for Western Europe markets in alignment with SEO and business priorities.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-value content opportunities within the region.
- Create detailed content briefs tailored to Western Europe audiences, including structure, tone, and target keywords.
- Ensure all content reflects local language norms, regulatory considerations, and cultural nuances.
- Manage the end-to-end production process, from ideation to publication.
- When relevant, coordinate the work of Content Managers focusing on Western Europe content.
2. Content Optimisation & Maintenance
- Update and optimise existing content to boost rankings, engagement, and conversions in Western Europe markets.
- Monitor performance using analytics tools and propose data-driven improvement plans.
- Apply best practices for metadata, internal linking, formatting, and on-page optimisation.
- Work closely with Western Europe SEO specialists to track traffic and ranking performance across markets such as Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Chile, etc.
3. Quality Control & Collaboration
- Collaborate with Writers, Editors, Designers, and Localization specialists to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Review drafts to ensure linguistic correctness (Spanish and/or Portuguese), readability, and editorial quality.
- Support the localisation of global content for Western Europe users.
- Contribute to content review sessions and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with SEO, Product, and Business teams to align content with acquisition and monetisation goals specific to the Western Europe region.
- Align frequently with Senior Content Managers or Team Leaders regarding priorities and deliverables.
- Suggest workflow improvements, regional adaptations, or new content formats for better reach and engagement.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in content creation, editorial management, or SEO-driven content for Western Europe markets.
- Native or fluent Spanish; Portuguese is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, keyword research, and SERP dynamics in Western Europe.
- Experience with CMS tools and analytics platforms (GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/Semrush, Looker Studio).
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent writing and briefing skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of iGaming, sports, or entertainment content is a plus.
What We Offer
- Direct impact on the growth of NSN brands in fast-growing Western Europe markets.
- Ownership of the regional editorial strategy with real autonomy.
- A fully remote work environment with teams across the Americas and Europe.
- Access to a supportive network of SEO, content, and product experts.
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and regional market standards.
- Clear growth opportunities within NSN's global content organisation.
