A leading space engineering company based in Toulouse is looking for a Product Assurance Engineer to join their growing team. The company designs and manufactures complex electronic and mechanical systems for satellite applications, working on both institutional and commercial missions across Europe.
This is an opportunity to be part of a highly skilled engineering environment, ensuring that flight hardware and subsystems meet the quality, reliability, and performance standards required for use in orbit.
The role:
You will be responsible for product and quality assurance activities across a range of space hardware projects, working closely with design, manufacturing, and test teams. Typical tasks include:
• Supporting the development and verification of electronic and mechanical subsystems for satellites
• Preparing and maintaining quality assurance documentation in line with ECSS standards
• Leading non-conformance investigations and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
• Conducting supplier and internal audits, reviews, and inspections
• Participating in key project reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, QR, etc.)
• Supporting project teams in applying product assurance requirements throughout the lifecycle
About you:
We are looking for either an experienced Product Assurance Engineer or a motivated development or test engineer from the Space sector who wants to move into product assurance.
You should have:
• A background in aerospace, space systems, or high-end electronics manufacturing
• Understanding of ECSS standards and space project lifecycles (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical approach to problem-solving
• Good communication and documentation skills in English (French would be a plus)
