AYRTON, one of the world leaders in the design, creation, and manufacture of LED lighting solutions for the entertainment industry, is recruiting a Regional Sales Manager for France for its Danish partner SGM Lighting.

These roles focus exclusively on the entertainment market (touring, festivals, TV/film, theatre, live events, venues).

The Role

Own revenue growth in France for SGM entertainment lighting only. You'll build trusted relationships with rental & production companies, theatres and performing arts, TV/film & broadcast, touring/live events, venues & integrators, and lighting designers, from prospecting and demos to specification and closing, while ensuring an excellent customer experience. Architectural projects are managed by a separate team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory ownership: build and execute an account plan by customer segment; deliver quarterly revenue and pipeline targets.
  • Channel & key accounts: develop rental/production partners and resellers; co-create enablement plans and joint reviews.
  • Specification & demand creation: present solutions to Lighting Designers, Production/Project Managers, Technical Directors, and venue technical teams; convert specifications into orders.
  • Full sales cycle: prospecting, demos/shoot-outs, quotations, negotiations, and closing; coordinate with Inside Sales, Service, and Logistics.
  • Market intelligence: track competitor activity, pricing dynamics, and product trends; share actionable insights.
  • Forecasting & systems: keep opportunities and forecasts current in Salesforce; follow order and delivery flows in SAP Business One.
  • Events: represent SGM at tradeshows, roadshows, open days, and customer events.

About You

  • Proven sales experience in entertainment lighting or adjacent live-events technology (pro audio, staging, video).
  • Established network with rental/production houses and stakeholders in theatre, touring/live events, TV/broadcast, and venues.
  • Strong consultative selling: discovery, solution framing, ROI justification, and closing.
  • Confident with product demos and technical conversations; able to translate specs into customer value.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and SAP Business One, or a fast learner ready to adopt both.
  • Languages: Native-level French and professional English.
  • Mobility: Extensive travel within France; valid driver's license.

Nice to Have

  • Experience collaborating with lighting designers, tour managers, and technical directors.
  • Awareness of control ecosystems (e.g., grandMA), media servers, or show networks.
  • Familiarity with rental commercial models and structured buying processes.
