Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Grenoble, with the flexibility to work from home occasionally. As a Customer Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by managing technical support and field service operations. Your day-to-day tasks will include providing on-site and remote customer support, troubleshooting technical issues, performing maintenance and repairs on high-tech semiconductor equipment, and ensuring efficient resolution of customer concerns to minimize downtime. You will also contribute to customer training, ensuring that proper usage and maintenance procedures are followed.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Support
  • Experience in Field Service, including equipment maintenance and on-site troubleshooting
  • Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to handle complex equipment issues
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to address customer needs
  • Relevant technical or engineering degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
  • Proficiency in English; additional European languages are advantageous
  • Prior experience with semiconductor or electronics laboratory equipment is a plus
