Reporting to the Book to Report Manager (Accounting), you act as the interface between Treasury, Accounting, Consolidation, Tax, Legal, External Auditors, and the Projects/Systems teams for all matters related to financial activities and the holdings under your responsibility. You supervise and lead a team of 5 employees 1 holdings accountant and an apprentice, 1 accountant dedicated to bank reconciliations (EssilorLuxottica, Essilor International SAS) and an apprentice, and 1 Corporate Treasury accountant.

Your Responsibilities
Scope EssilorLuxottica SA (Listed Company) and Essilor International SAS (holding and treasury activities)

  • Responsible for accounting of financial and treasury operations (internal and external financing, foreign exchange result monitoring, derivatives, mark-to-market, cash pooling structure, equity/financing operations (acquisition, capital increases, disposals of investments), both in FrenchGAAP and IFRS.
  • Active participation in the monthly closing process, including posting certain entries in the accounting ERP (SAP),
  • Responsible for the proper reconciliation of bank reconciliations (80+ bank accounts) and cashpooling reconciliation (500+ positions)
  • Responsible for the financial ICP reconciliation at month end
  • Responsible for the notes to the standalone financial statements concerning financial and treasury items, in coordination with Group Treasury team,
  • Responsible for the valuation of the investments (yearly annual impairment test of the shares) – review of the methodology, preparation of the DCFs, review of budgets with local CFOs

Scope Intermediate holdings

  • Responsible for the accounting and reporting of eight intermediate holding companies, including six foreign entities, up to consolidated reporting (including intercompany reconciliation process).
  • Communication with external advisors and external auditors on the statutory financial audits (four audited companies)
  • Support to EMEA Tax Teams in review of the tax consolidation & tax analysis impacts

General Responsibilities

  • Support Group Treasury Team on all projects with accounting implications
  • Follow-up on M&A operations (acquisitions, disinvestments) and costs related to the Group's strategic acquisition projects (earn out & holdback assessments)
  • Active participation in various projects within the department related to the scope (SAP deployment, integration of new entities, restructuring of the Group's legal structure, projects with Consolidation Team, Treasury Team etc.)
  • Ongoing monitoring and adaptation to changes in French regulations and IFRS standards
  • Continuous improvement of our closing processes

Candidate profile

  • DEC or DSCG required / Business school Master's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an accounting firm, audit, or a similar role, with exposure to large corporate environments
  • Strong interest in Corporate Treasury and holding related topics
  • Experience in transversal projects is a plus
  • Curiosity / Rigor / Team spirit / Communication skills
  • Experience with an ERP (SAP, HFM HYPERION), and KYRIBA (Treasury Management System) is a plus
  • Fluent English required, French is a strong plus

Vos responsabilités
Périmètre EssilorLuxottica SA (société cotée) et Essilor International SAS (holding & trésorerie)

  • Responsable de la comptabilisation des opérations financières et de trésorerie financements internes et externes, suivi du résultat de change, instruments dérivés, valorisation à la juste valeur (mark-to-market), cash pooling, opérations sur capitaux propres et opérations de financement (acquisitions, augmentations de capital, cessions de participations), en normes French GAAP et IFRS
  • Participation active au processus de clôture mensuelle, incluant la saisie de certaines écritures dans l'ERP comptable (SAP)
  • Responsable de la fiabilité et de la réconciliation des rapprochements bancaires (80+ comptes bancaires) et du cash pooling (500+ positions)
  • Responsable de la réconciliation des opérations intra-groupe financières (ICP) en fin de mois
  • Responsable de la préparation des annexes aux comptes sociaux relatives aux opérations financières et de trésorerie, en coordination avec l'équipe Trésorerie Groupe
  • Responsable de la valorisation des participations (tests de dépréciation annuels des titres) revue de la méthodologie, préparation des modèles DCF, analyse des budgets en lien avec les CFO locaux

Périmètre Holdings intermédiaires

  • Responsable de la comptabilité et du reporting de huit holdings intermédiaires, dont six entités étrangères, jusqu'au reporting consolidé (y compris les processus de réconciliation intercompany)
  • Coordination avec les conseils externes et les auditeurs dans le cadre des audits légaux (quatre sociétés auditées)
  • Support aux équipes Fiscalité EMEA dans l'analyse des impacts liés à l'intégration fiscale et aux sujets fiscaux associés

Responsabilités transverses

  • Support à l'équipe Trésorerie Groupe sur l'ensemble des projets ayant des impacts comptables
  • Suivi des opérations de M&A (acquisitions, cessions) et des coûts associés aux projets stratégiques du Groupe (earn-out, holdback)
  • Participation active aux projets structurants du département déploiement SAP, intégration de nouvelles entités, restructuration juridique du Groupe, projets menés avec les équipes Consolidation et Trésorerie
  • Veille permanente et adaptation aux évolutions des normes French GAAP et IFRS
  • Contribution à l'amélioration continue des processus de clôture financière

Profil recherché

  • DEC ou DSCG requis, ou Master d'École de commerce avec spécialisation Finance / Comptabilité
  • Minimum 5 ans d'expérience en cabinet comptable, audit ou fonction équivalente en environnement grand groupe
  • Fort intérêt pour les sujets de Trésorerie Corporate et de holdings
  • Expérience en gestion de projets transverses appréciée
  • Curiosité intellectuelle, rigueur, esprit d'équipe et excellentes capacités de communication
  • Maîtrise d'un ERP (SAP, HFM Hyperion) ; connaissance de Kyriba (TMS) appréciée
  • Anglais courant indispensable ; le français est un atout majeur
