To support Electra's growth and achieve the goal of deploying 2,000 stations by 2030, the Operations Department is looking for a Senior Lead Buyer. In this role, you will establish purchasing strategies and lead Calls for Tender for the categories assigned to you, directly for technical purchases in France and in support to assist local purchases in our European countries.

Under the responsibility of Laurane, Head of Procurement, your role is key to securing critical purchases related to construction and electrical infrastructure. You will lead purchasing strategies, calls for tender, and supplier performance on high-stakes categories.

Scope and main categories

• Energy & Power Systems: transformers, low-voltage switchboards, electrical distribution equipment
• Charging Hardware: fast chargers and charging stations
• Services & Engineering: installation, maintenance, associated construction services.

• Leading Calls for Tender, from needs assessment to project completion (sourcing, drafting Calls for Tender, bid analysis, negotiation, contracting, kick-off, and feedback via scorecards).
• Working closely with Engineering, Industry, Maintenance, Finance, and Roll Out teams to anticipate needs, challenge specifications, and optimize costs.
• Defining and deploying purchasing strategies for the categories under your responsibility.
• Working jointly with countries for local Calls for Tender.
• Establishing and negotiating appropriate contracts.
• Providing monthly KPI reporting for the Head of Procurement.
• Ensuring follow-up and after-sales service in case of disputes with suppliers.
  

• You have a degree from a business or engineering school.
• 5 years of experience in technical purchasing (hardware / energy / power), ideally in an industrial, energy, CPO, or electric mobility environment.
• Good understanding of electrical architecture and energy chains.
• Excellent skills in negotiation, contract structuring, and strategic supplier management.
• You are fluent in English (Spanish, Italian, German, or Dutch would be a plus). You are rigorous, organized, comfortable with Excel, and have a genuine interest in technical subjects.
