DESCRIPTION:

The Junior Designer will support the creative team in technical drawings, production renderings, and visual content development. This role assists in preparing client-ready materials, environmental graphics, and production documents to support project execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design Execution & Technical Support:

  • Develop technical drawings, elevations, and production-ready design renderings.
  • Assist in creating client presentations, mood boards, and visual materials.
  • Support the development of environmental graphics, event layouts, and construction documentation.
  • Collaborate with production and technical teams to ensure feasibility of designs.
  • Assist in on-site installations, fabrication reviews, and production coordination.
  • Maintain reference materials, design templates, and creative assets library.

Collaboration & Learning:

  • Work closely with Art Directors and Senior Creative team to execute design vision.
  • Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions.
  • Stay informed on design trends, materials, and fabrication techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Foundational understanding of spatial design, environmental graphics, or event design principles.
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills and ability to adapt designs based on project needs.
  • Proficient in visual communication through hand sketching, mood boards, and storyboards.
  • Interest in expanding technical design knowledge in experiential marketing.
  • Experience in onsite vendor management and knowledge of construction processes in the fashion and set design industries.
  • 3+ years of relevant design experience, with a focus on production-ready files and fabrication packages.
  • Proficiency with drafting software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Vectorworks) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • International work experience and knowledge of key regional vendors in European and Asian markets.
