Senior Print Production Officer (M/F/X)

Segment : Royal Canin

Type of contract : Permanent

Location : Aimargues near Montpellier, France

As a Senior Print Production Officer, you'll be at the forefront of our Graphics department, driving innovation and sustainability in packaging design. Your role will enhance the distinctiveness and impact of our global brand, creating exceptional value for pet owners worldwide.

What profile we are looking for:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Minimum 4 years in packaging printing technology (printer or repro house).
    • Fluent in English.
    • Knowledge of Graphic Technology standards (ISO, GRACol, Fogra).
    • Expertise in color management
    • Strong project management skills.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Proficient in color definitions, prepress, and printing techniques.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Ability to define processes, workflows and quality criteria.
    • Self-motivated and a team player.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Lead print feasibility and technical development for design projects.
  • Specify and communicate color development (spot and process color profiling).
  • Audit and qualify printers, ensuring alignment with targets and KPIs.
  • Implement strategies to optimize print quality across technologies.
  • Establish standards for print quality and color management.
  • Monitor and control KPIs for consistency and quality in packaging.
  • Evaluate and support co-manufacturers and provide technical guidance to the graphics team.
