About the Apprenticeship
We're launching an 18-month AI Engineering Apprenticeship designed to develop the next generation of AI engineers. This program combines hands-on, real-world experience with structured learning and mentorship, helping apprentices build practical skills in machine learning, software engineering, and responsible AI.
You'll work alongside experienced engineers on production systems while gradually increasing ownership and technical responsibility.
What You'll Learn & Do
Over the course of 18 months, you will:
- Learn the fundamentals of AI, machine learning, and data engineering
- Assist in building, training, testing, and deploying ML models
- Write clean, maintainable code for AI-powered applications
- Work with datasets: cleaning, labeling, validating, and analyzing data
- Support model evaluation, monitoring, and performance improvements
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers
- Learn best practices around responsible, ethical, and secure AI
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions

- Exposure to machine learning through coursework, bootcamps, or self-study
- A portfolio, GitHub, or personal project (optional)
